Where is your jewellery made?
Linden Cook Jewellery is handcrafted in Melbourne by our incredible team of artisan jewellers, for you know exactly where your piece comes from and the hands who made it.
What materials do you use?
We use recycled metals wherever possible, creating pieces in Sterling Silver, Solid Golds and Gold Plated.
Online, we offer Solid 9k Gold, but we also cast custom orders in 14k, 18k, and 22k Gold. If you’re interested in a custom metal option, please contact our customer care team at info@lindencookdesign.com.
Can you explain the difference between Solid Gold and Gold Plated?
Our Solid Gold pieces are designed to last forever and can be worn everyday without requiring regular maintenance.
Each of our Gold Plated pieces is crafted in Sterling Silver and finished with a 2-micron layer of hard 18k gold plating for longer lasting wear. Over time, the gold plating will naturally wear and re-plating will be required to restore its gold colour.
We do recommend going for the solid gold option for a beautiful, sentimental piece that can be passed down to generations to come.
Do I need to book before visiting your store?
No booking is required to visit our store and explore the collection.

While we recommend booking an appointment to secure your spot, walk-ins are also welcome if availability allows on the day.
Where are you located, and when are you open?
We're located at 79 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, 3065.
Our store is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer both Physical and Electronic Gift Cards. You can explore our Gift Card options here.
Is gift wrapping available?
Gift wrapping is available for online orders for $7 at checkout. We’re thrilled to share our gift card and tissue paper designs, created in collaboration with our incredible jeweller and artist Pauline Lecocq. Printed on recycled, compostable materials, these custom hand-drawn designs bring an eco-friendly and sentimental touch to any gift for a loved one.
Can I include a personal message with my gift?
Yes. When you select gift wrapping at checkout, you’ll have the option to add a gift message, which we'll handwrite on the card for a personal touch.
How can I find the right size?
For rings:
You can view our ring size chart here or visit our Fitzroy store, where we can assist you with sizing on the spot. You can also contact our Customer Care team for further guidance.
For necklaces and bracelets:
The easiest way is to wrap a piece of string around your neck or wrist to your preferred fit, then measure the string against a ruler in centimetres.
Can I personalise or customise a piece?

The piece I love is no longer available. Can I still order it?

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods, including:

- PayPal

- Afterpay (available for Australian customers)
Do you ever go on sale?
We’ve chosen not to run sales. Each piece is handcrafted from precious metals, and our pricing reflects both the value of the materials and the craftsmanship that goes into creating it. By offering our jewellery directly to you, we’re able to keep prices fair year-round, without traditional retail markups.

Have your prices changed recently?
Our prices reflect the global cost of precious metals we work with. Fluctuations in gold prices mean we sometimes need to adjust pricing to continue handcrafting pieces you love with the same quality and care.
Changes in pricing to the Impression™ range
If there has been a price increase across the Impression range between the time you purchased your piece and when you return your kit, your order may be subject to a price adjustment to reflect changes in the cost of gold.
We will, however, always honour the price you have paid for 6 months after you have made your order.
How long will my piece take to be made and delivered?
Many of our pieces are handcrafted to order, and production times can vary depending on the design, metal, and seasonal demand. You can view our Studio Lead Times for each style here.
We also keep a selection of pieces in stock that are ready to ship right away. If you’d like something immediately, please get in touch with our customer care team.
Once completed, all Australian orders are shipped with AusPost Express, and international orders are shipped via DHL Express.
What delivery options do you offer, and do you ship internationally?
We ship all Australian orders with AusPost Express. For international orders, we use DHL Express.
All international purchases are exempt from Australian consumer tax known as Goods and Services Tax (GST) (currently 10%); however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. For more information, please visit our shipping page here.
Will I receive tracking details once my order is shipped, and will I need to sign for my delivery?
Yes, once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking updates via email.
A signature on delivery is required. If no one is home, your parcel will be held at your local post office or parcel centre for collection.
Can I collect my order from your Fitzroy store?
Yes, we’re so excited to now offer in-store pickup. To choose this option, please write “pick up” in the summary box at checkout.
Our team will contact you as soon as your order is ready for collection.
How will my order arrive?
Your piece will arrive in a beautiful Linden Cook jewellery box and includes a microfibre pouch, perfect for everyday storage and gentle cleaning.
For longer-term storage, we recommend keeping your jewellery in an airtight ziplock bag or jewellery box to help maintain its appearance.
Is gift wrapping available?
Gift Wrapping is available at checkout for $7.
How should I care for my jewellery?

Do your pieces come with a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 24-month warranty. If a manufacturing fault arises within 24 months of purchase, we will repair the item free of charge. To assess the issue, the item must be returned for inspection before any repairs are confirmed.
Damage caused by normal wear and tear, or misuse, is not eligible for replacement or free repair. For more information on our Warranty policy, view our Returns & Shipping page here.
Can I return or exchange my piece?
For made-to-order, personalised pieces, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
For ready-made items, exchange or store credit is accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the piece:
- Has not been worn
- Is in its original packaging
- Was not made-to-order or personalised
- The original order number can be provided
We do not offer returns, exchanges, or store credit on Signature Impression or any customised pieces. Signature Impression pieces are crafted to precisely reflect your wax impressions in size, shape, and appearance, so it’s important that you are completely satisfied with your impression before sending it to us.
Can you repair a piece that’s broken or damaged?
If you have a piece that needs to be repaired, please reach out to our customer care team.
Do you offer cleaning or restoration services?
We offer complimentary cleaning for all Solid Gold and Silver Linden Cook pieces to restore their natural shine. To book this service, simply schedule a visit here. If you're unable to visit our Fitzroy studio, please contact our customer care team, and we can assist in arranging a return.
Please note, this service is available for Solid Gold and Silver pieces only. For gold-plated items, we offer re-plating services. Please contact our customer care team for a quote.
