Sustainability

We are committed to creating pieces that can be passed down through generations and worn with pride. For you to know exactly where your piece has come from, and the hands that have made it. All of our pieces are handmade by our team of artisan jewellers in Melbourne, Australia.

Investment Pieces

Creating beauty does not mean compromising on quality or values. We source high quality precious metals designed to last, and aim to provide a level of craftsmanship that extends the lifespan of each piece. In creating high quality, sentimental pieces that won’t go out of style, we are encouraging customers to invest in jewellery they can love forever, rather than buying new pieces with new trends.

Combining Impression, Birthstone, Engraving and more, the pieces in our Sentimental collection can be tailored to you and your loved ones and added to over time. With Sentimental, you have an opportunity to create modern heirlooms that become a part of your identity, to be passed down to your loves ones for years to come.

Made to Order

Our made-to-order business model significantly reduces waste and environmental impact compared to traditional retail approaches. By creating pieces only when they're ordered, we eliminate excess inventory and avoid the wasteful practice of mass production. This intentional approach means we use resources more efficiently, producing exactly what is needed when it's needed. Each piece is crafted with purpose, ensuring materials aren't wasted on unsold items that might eventually be discarded. This sustainable model not only benefits the environment but also allows us to maintain higher quality standards and build stronger connections with our customers through personalised craftsmanship.

Our Values

Many of our custom designs embrace organic shapes and lines, allowing us to use recycled metals and repurposed materials more often. We have strict processes in place regarding the recycling and refining of all precious metal scraps, reducing production waste.

All of our wax casted pieces are cast from recycled metals here in Melbourne. We have taken the time to build personal and transparent relationships with all of our suppliers, using Melbourne based suppliers wherever possible.

We offer complimentary cleaning for all solid gold and silver Linden Cook pieces to restore their natural shine, encouraging our customers to invest in enduring pieces they can wear for a lifetime.

To book this service, simply schedule a visit here. If you're unable to visit our Fitzroy studio, please contact our customer care team, and we can assist in arranging a return.

We aim to be as inclusive as possible for all of our customers. By allowing customisations on lengths, sizes and even finer details such as the finish of the metal it encourages our customers to invest in pieces that are perfectly suited to them.

All Linden Cook pieces and Impression Wax Kits are sent in eco-friendly, compostable padded mailers. We have created beautiful, plastic-free jewellery boxes and microfibre cloth pouches that can store your jewellery for years to come. We hope this helps break the cycle of waste often seen in the fashion industry, as there's less to throw out and both the box and mailer can be reused. For any returned Impression kits, we try to reuse any packaging we can to limit unnecessary waste.

Our partnership with charity platform i=Change allows us to pursue our sustainability work in a way that is both tangible and ongoing. For every order received, Linden Cook will donate one dollar to one of three nominated community projects.

One of the chosen projects, Clean The Sea, uses Seabin Smart Tech to removes floating plastics and filters oil and surface pollutants from 600,000L of water per day. Each dollar raised collects 1 item of plastic, filters 1868.68 liters of polluted water, and supports global education and litter prevention campaigns to combat plastic pollution. Since partnering, we have raised over $9000 for this project.

Linden Cook Jewellery acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, at our studio in Naarm and throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
