Our Impression™ Collection was born from a desire to create a piece of jewellery that holds real sentiment and lasts a lifetime. Using a lost wax casting technique, we are able to create custom fingerprint pieces that are completely unique in shape and print, allowing you to hold a special piece of your loved one close to you. The beauty of this process is that you have complete creative control over how the finished piece will look.

Every impression pendant is made with our signature satin finish. Featured on the back of each impression, the satin texture offers lasting durability for every sentimental piece.

This piece can be created double or single sided
An initial can be engraved on the back of single sided pendants. You can specify this on the return card when sending back your wax. Please note that we cannot guarantee stamping if the wax is too thin.
Solid gold pieces will last forever and can be worn everyday and don’t require regular maintenance. While each of our gold plated pieces are sent to a specialised electroplating company once they are finished for a much more premium quality plating, all plated pieces will gradually wear over time. We do recommend going for the solid gold option for a beautiful, sentimental piece that can be passed down to generations to come
As each piece is handmade to order, our studio lead times vary depending on the style, metal and the time of year that your order has been placed.
If you require a piece urgently or by a specific date, please be sure to email info@lindencookdesign.com before placing your order to avoid any disappointment. We will always do our best to get your piece to you in time.
Australia
We offer free Express Shipping Aus Wide for all Linden Cook Loyalty members (when signed into your account). Shipping is $15 for non members. Please be mindful that the express shipping is from when your piece has been created, not from the date you place your order. You will receive tracking information once your piece has been sent.
International - All Countries
We will ship your parcel with DHL Express for $30AUD. We offer a $15AUD shipping discount for all international Linden Cook Loyalty members. You will receive tracking information from DHL once your piece has been sent.
By shopping with Linden Cook, you are supporting a local business with an ongoing commitment to upholding sustainable practices. As each of our pieces are handmade to order in our Melbourne studio, they come with varying production lead times. We choose to bundle orders into one parcel to reduce packaging and deliveries, minimising our overall impact on the environment. This means your parcel will be sent out with the longest lead time in your order. If you would like a particular piece in your order sent to you upon completion, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team by contacting info@lindencookdesign.com.au.
Please note International Shipments may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.
The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. To determine exactly what these charges may be, it could be necessary to call your local customs office to gain further details.
Your piece will be sent in a beautiful, plastic free jewellery box that can be used to store jewellery for years to come. Each piece also comes with a microfibre pouch that can be used to store and clean your jewellery.
Once your Impression order is placed, we will send you an Impression wax kit on express shipping within 1-2 business days.
Due to high demand and the custom nature of these pieces, current lead times (once your wax impressions are processed) are:
Silver, Solid Yellow & Rose Gold: 3-4 weeks
Solid White Gold: 4-5 weeks
Gold Plated: 6-7 weeks
Please note that silicone moulds add at least 2 additional weeks to these lead times.

Australia Wide
We offer free Express Shipping for all signed in Linden Cook Loyalty members. If you are not a member, you will be charged $15AUD for shipping of the finished piece. The shipping of the wax kit to you and back to our studio is included in the price of the piece.
International - All Countries
DHL Express $95. This includes three lots of shipping of the Impression Kit back and forth and the finished Impression piece. We offer a $15AUD shipping discount to all international Linden Cook Loyalty members.

Your finished piece will look exactly as the wax does in print, shape and size so be sure to love how it looks before sending it back to us. This excludes the Signet Ring and Band Ring, which are slightly manipulated to suit the style. All measurements will depend on how the fingerprint is pressed into the wax, dictating the overall size. We recommend sticking to the size guidelines provided on the information card to create the best quality impressions. If your band ring impression is longer than the guide, we may need to trim the print to provide the best quality piece.
You can email or text us a close-up photo with the flash on of your wax to avoid having to redo your impressions.

This piece is not suitable for children younger than 12 months of age as their prints may not be defined enough. It is case by case as each child's prints develop at different times.
If time is of the essence, you can simply gift your loved one the Impression Wax Kit that gets sent to you in the mail when you place your order. It makes a beautiful and thoughtful present, stylishly packaged. This can be sent directly to the recipient.

We understand that the intricate nature of lost wax casting can mean it takes some time to gather your loved ones and capture the perfect print.
That is why when you make a Silver, 9k Yellow Gold, White Gold, or Rose Gold impression purchase, we guarantee your price is secured for six months, giving you confidence and peace of mind to create your Impressions in your own time. For all 18k gold pieces, the price of your impression piece is secured for one month.
If your waxes are returned after this time, we’ll contact you to confirm any price difference that may apply, in line with the current value of gold and silver - a reflection of your piece’s true and enduring worth.
