Steph's father
sadly passed away from Lymphoma in September 2022. During a visit to the hospital shortly before he passed, she had him write her a small note, which we then laser engraved onto our Custom Laser bracelet.
When Steph shared a beautiful video of her experience creating her bracelet with us, we were blown away with the amazing response it got and reached out to her to chat a bit more about her amazing dad.
How did you come about making this piece with handwriting
and what does it mean to you?
This was my dad's handwriting. He wrote this for me when he was sick with cancer, I asked him to write me a message while he was in hospital. It means everything to me as we knew at that stage his condition was terminal and I wanted something that I can keep with me always. It is my reminder that he is always with me.
Can you tell us a bit more about your dad?
He was the most selfless human I will ever know. He cared for my disabled brother and worked full time, so he never really did anything for himself. Before my mum and dad had children he was very adventurous. Safari's in Africa, scuba diving and travelling around the world were his favourite things.
What is your favourite memory with your dad?
When he would get home from work in his suit and briefcase, I would run to the door and he would lift me high above his head. His suit and briefcase was his trademark and thats what I think of when I picture him.

Lymphoma Australia, as my dad passed from Lymphoma.
