Eden and her Nonna Carmel joined us in-store ahead of our Recrafted event to create a meaningful piece of unmatched sentiment. Eden reached out to us on our broadcast channel, telling us she wanted to create a piece for her Nonna in honour of her late Nonno Sam.

We chatted to Eden about creating this special piece.
1. What made you want to share this experience with your Nonna?
I wanted to share this experience with my Nonna because I absolutely adore her. It is so important to me to make memories with her while I still can.
2. Can you talk us through how you came up with the design for her pendant and the meaning behind it?
We designed the pendant with my Nonno's name on it and his birthstone. He passed away recently and we wanted something to honour him.
Carmel chose a Grand Silver Custom Engraved Pendant with an engraving and aquamarine birthstone.
3. How did you find the experience of designing the piece together in store with us?
It was such a heartwarming and wholesome experience and I am so grateful we were guided through the process. The whole team were exceptional and caring. We felt very supported and collaborated the whole time.
4. You have such a beautiful relationship with your Nonna - how has she shaped the person you’ve become?
My Nonna is strong willed and strong minded and that has given me a massive sense of purpose and what type of person I want to be. We have a very close family and we love just being together and spending time with each other. This video created by my partner celebrates our life and love for food and being surrounded by one another.
5. How do you hope she feels each time she wears the pendant?
Since my Nonno passed away, I know she thinks about him every second of every day. I loved the idea of his name on a necklace that will be close to her heart. Whenever she thinks of him she can touch the pendant.
