Social Media Coordinator

Social Media Coordinator

Full Time

Location: Melbourne-based only (In Office)

Linden Cook is looking for a creative, highly organised and social-first Social Media Coordinator to take ownership of the day to day execution of our social channels.

This is a hands on role for someone who genuinely understands social media - someone who is excited to capture content, create posts, jump on relevant trends, engage with our community and bring our marketing calendar to life every day.

You’ll work closely with our wider marketing team to turn campaigns, product launches, brand moments and everyday activity at Linden Cook into engaging social content.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, has a strong eye for content and understands what makes people stop, watch, engage and share.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of the Social Media Coordinator are:

Social Media & Content
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of Linden Cook’s Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest channels.
  • Execute the social media component of the broader marketing calendar, including campaigns, product launches, events and key brand moments.
  • Post and maintain an active presence across our social channels daily.
  • Capture regular photo and video content across our studio, retail store, team, products, events and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Be comfortable appearing in content when appropriate, including TikToks, Reels and other social-first formats.
  • Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories.
  • Create Instagram carousels, Stories, grid posts and other social assets.
  • Write social captions and supporting copy in the Linden Cook tone of voice.
  • Schedule and publish content across social platforms.
Trends & Social-First Thinking
  • Stay across emerging TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, sounds and platform changes.
  • Identify relevant trends and quickly translate them into content that feels natural to the Linden Cook brand.
  • Proactively bring new content ideas, formats and opportunities to the team.
  • Understand the difference between simply following a trend and creating content that is relevant to our customer and brand.
  • Keep a close eye on what is performing across jewellery, fashion, beauty, lifestyle and the wider social landscape.
Community Management
  • Manage day-to-day engagement across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Respond to comments and social messages in a warm, timely and brand-appropriate way.
  • Identify opportunities to build conversation, strengthen relationships and grow engagement with our audience.
  • Escalate customer service enquiries to the appropriate team where required.
Campaigns, Launches & Events
  • Support the social execution of product launches, collaborations, campaigns and events.
  • Capture real-time content at launches, events and brand activations.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to ensure content is captured ahead of key marketing moments.
  • Turn larger campaign concepts into the day-to-day social content required to bring them to life.
  • Ensure social channels remain consistent with broader brand and marketing activity.
Analytics & Optimisation
  • Regularly review Instagram and TikTok performance and report on key metrics.
  • Monitor reach, engagement, follower growth, views, shares, saves and content performance.
  • Identify which content formats, topics and creative approaches are performing and use these insights to inform future content.
  • Report on social performance and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Test new formats, posting styles and creative approaches to continually improve performance.
Influencer & Community Relationships
  • Identify and research relevant influencers, creators and brand advocates who align with Linden Cook.
  • Build and maintain targeted influencer lists for product launches, gifting, events and ongoing brand opportunities.
  • Manage influencer outreach and communication through Instagram, including the primary Instagram inbox.
  • Coordinate and host influencer appointments in our Fitzroy store, ensuring each interaction reflects the Linden Cook brand and customer experience.
  • Build genuine, ongoing relationships with creators and identify opportunities for organic content, gifting and collaboration.
  • Keep track of influencer activity, content shared and potential future opportunities.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team to support influencer campaigns, launches and events.

About You

  • You have hands-on experience managing social media for a brand, ideally within fashion, beauty, jewellery, retail or lifestyle.
  • You genuinely understand Instagram and TikTok and use them regularly.
  • You know how to capture strong social-first content using a phone and are confident editing short-form video.
  • You have a strong visual eye and can create content that feels polished while still feeling natural to social media.
  • You are comfortable using tools such as Canva and CapCut or similar platforms.
  • You are happy and confident appearing in content yourself when needed.
  • You follow trends naturally and understand how to decide which ones are relevant to a brand.
  • You have strong written communication skills and can adapt to an established brand tone of voice.
  • You are highly organised and able to manage a consistent daily posting schedule alongside campaigns, launches and reactive content.
  • You are proactive and naturally look for content opportunities rather than waiting to be told what to post.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-growing business where things move quickly and opportunities can come up unexpectedly.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your resume (in any form you like) and tell us a bit about yourself – to jack@lindencookdesign.com.
